The first owner of this 280SL was an Englishman who lived and worked in Germany. There he bought the SL and registered it in 1980. In October 1982 he returned to England and took the SL there. In England, the car was driven by him and his son.
In 2009 the vehicle was sold to the second owner to Bristol, England. In 2018 the vehicle was transferred from Bristol back to Germany. In Germany, the vehicle was reviewed by a specialist workshop and carried out service.
