Ever since the first generation of the legendary 300 SL got launched in 1954, the SL has been considered the perfect balancing act between sportiness and elegance. This specimen in silver blue metallic (930O) over gray fabric also impresses with numerous desirable options.
The R107 series is the third generation of the popular roadster series from Stuttgart and heralded a new design era at Mercedes when it was introduced with its broadband headlights and ribbed rear lights, which only ended at the end of the 90s with the discontinuation of the W124 and W140 series found and appeals to the charm of many retro friends today. As the successor to the Gullwing W198 and the W113, known as the “Pagoda” to enthusiasts, the R107 took on a difficult legacy in the world of classic cars.
